right at local sun set here in florida, 10 is wide open. i'm working multiple VK's using just 100 watts thru a 3 element tribander on 28.400 ;);)
 

now into ja's

band shifted to hawaii and then to japan before it closed ... crazy conditions(y)
 
The 10 meters here is wide open between 28.3 to 28.5 so far lol and hearing South America .There must be doing a lot of contesting.
