My mailbox was lying on the ground when I woke up. I have expensive surveillance cameras all over my property because Florida has become a sh!thole. The video clearly shows the car and license plate number plus the driver got out and pulled it down and stomped on it.
I had a friend run the plate and I drove over to the address....the car was right there parked on the lawn.
Knocked on the front door and talked to the father, I gave him two options.
1) Pay me $50 for the box and $25 for my labor, then it would be over and done.
2) I will call the police and press charges.....then give a copy of the video to the postal service.
He told me you don't have a video and get off his "fu&$ing" property.

Since 12 other mailboxes in the neighborhood were wacked that night, after viewing the video the 19 year old was arrested and taken to jail. We'll see what the postal service will do, if anything. Hillary sticker on the back of the Honda Civic.
It's no wonder the kid turned out the way he did.

I bet they were mad when the police arrested him. But I also bet that they are still mad about the offer you made. They are probably mad that you had a mail box and it is all your fault. Hopefully the kid will learn something from this but probably not.....

It got so bad two decades ago that I had to request the VA send all my prescriptions "signature required".
I had a two 1000 rd case of 9mm ammo stolen long before I had surveillance cameras.
As soon as I have a QUALIFIED buyer for my house and property I am off to Amherst NH permanently.
I did find out that the crumb bum who wacked all the mailboxes is a refugee from Puerto Rico after the Hurricane destroyed the island. These section 8er's rent is lower than my power bill ...SAD! Don't get me wrong, the overwhelming majority of PR refugees are good people, but the news seems to only show the bad ones.
MS-13 is now in parts of Volusia, Orange, Osceola, and Broward counties.

USPS will press charges...It's a Federal Offence to destroy mail box's, and carry's a healthy price-tag along with prison time if convicted...

Few years ago some High School football player's from a neighboring town went out and pulled-up a bunch of mailbox's, then left them all leaning on one of my neighbors fences next to the street. Post Office was notified, they sent out the local Sheriff to collect the box's, then they dusted them for finger prints and found one of the boys, which gave-up the rest...Don't know what happened to them after that, but they all faced Federal Charges...

I have all of my prescription and packages sent to my local UPS store where I have a postal box. Had a motorcycle seat stolen right off of my front porch and when the cop was here taking the report I spotted the individual carrying the box toward their house. I told the cop there it is! That's my bike seat go question them. He said I don't have probable cause. With that the person disappears into their garage with my package, it shows up later on my porch, opened and cut from front to back and crosswise on Italian Glove leather. Bastards ruined and $800.00 motorcycle seat. I called the officer who had been here and said do you have proof? Finger prints, you could finger print the seat, to which he replied somebody watches too much CSI on TV.
I have plans for them.....

True story... my dump truck had a tremble in the front and I couldn't ever figure it out or find it. So I said, well you figure out what descriptive words I said, and I went and bought two brand new floatation wheels (rims). My truck uses the 425 float on the front, price those too while you're at it.

I took the old pair and sat them in front of my garage. They sat there for about 2 weeks. I was home alone one day, in the porcelain office tending to some important business and heard a knock on my front door. By the time I got to the front door, I was short one wheel and two crackheads were backing down my driveway, out into the road and commenced to burn a hellish wheel off a raggedy Explorer.

Wheel turned up at the scrap yard 3 days later... crackheads are still at large.

I have had a carry permit since 1997 and only started carrying 3 years ago. I feel safer with a Sig P238 in my pocket.
George Zimmerman had a carry permit and used his Keltec to save his life and look what happened to him due to our great political system.
