SWR\Power meter

I'm in need of a new SWR\Power meter and asking for suggestions. My tri window meter is old and basically a POS. I haven't had a new meter in years and it's time I get a new one. I've had Dosy meters in the past but I want to try something new. What do y'all use?

I've looked at a few, Diamond, Diawa and the like. Suggestions?

Depends on budget and power range.
I use CN-801HP. RMS/PEP.
Why cross needle? No calibration, swr and power visible at once. Clear display. Far better than digital IMO.

I've been leaning towards the Daiwa. It will be a nice addition to the shack. Should look nice on the bench next to the AT-6666 that should be here next week.

The Daiwa 801HP is now the 901HP,

Don't see or know any difference.

The 801HP might be available as NOS for a decent price. Look around!

Did I buy a lemon or what? I bought the daiwa CN 901 The RMS is right on the money with my Bird. Phe PEP is crazy off with the hold turned on of off.

Compared to what? The Bird? Does the Bird meter have real pep measurement capability?

From what I know about these is that they aren't true PEP readings. There is PEP add on mod kits so it will be.
