Yes even with the 3k dollar units you must calibrate after every change in a configuration of coax, baluns, connectors etc just the way it is until they come out with something even smarter.
I have a Bird SiteHawk 6000 so I'm looking for a toolbox analyzer and have one of these like you just ordered to keep in my field toolbox.
Here is a Man Captain that has done 5 or 6 videos on these I watch all his posts.
I have around 150 units on the back burner and about 27 in the shop 2 weeks ago I had 44 units on the shelf and some of those back burners may send it somewhere else but there will be 50 in their place so it is just the way it is.
If you use the clarifier and set the receiver to read 27.2045 and then transmit does it show the same as the receive setting it should? It should also show the same offset on all channels. The frequency should also show the same transmit frequency on an external counter as it shows on the Cobras...

Maybe you are experiencing something completely different like harmonics that are rampant this would make it impossible. Are testing with just the radio or at high power Try? Try running coax direct from the radio to the antenna or use an analyzer and short length of coax and maybe you will see...

Well, Customer picked up today after repairs to antenna switching board and Mars conversion. These are monsters 72lb's. He also wanted it freshened up a bit so the bezel and cabinet were given a fresh new look, It is quite the machine made contacts on 6 meters and 10 meters.
