I have one of them thube drive size SDR radios and i was going to get an up converter to get HF. Because this thing suffering from front end overload I was going to get FM radio filter and I was wondering if this filter board would help with HF? Look at this on eBay...

yes i do my USB adjustments on CT3 first i seen it was tied to the crystal in the schematic. right now Pin 10 is cut for the normal 40 Ch I would think just setting the clarifier to 12 and getting the adjustments would just fall in to place but i guess not..

yea some one put extra channels in it but it was a mess so i removed them and just put 1 switch in for 4 up.. ill play with it today.

Ok this strange ill let the radio warm up more and try agen... The clarifier is unlocked but it's done the same way as my uniden Washington.. I know its not the counter i had it varafied at a local shop and it is dead nuts with my Ts-2000...

my friend got a 142GTL that was all messed up i got it working but it has a 11.3258 crystal installed every time i run though the Freq alignments the Voice lock ends up 2 o'clock position? is the alignment procedure the same for setting the reference freq "L20, L19, and CT3"...

yeah 10 meters is dead i got in to radios in the tail end of the last peek in propagation.. from time to time i do hear people on 28.450 28.350 and some guy on 28.425 kind of a shame but i am holding out for the next peek..

People like SRC that need this debunking and people need to see people like SRC for what they are scammers that pad there bills.. When i was new getting in to CB radios 6 years ago to talk to my friends I had no clue and i would see videos like SRC and the magic they did thinking they know what...

and the way he installs it just floating in side the radio and it cant dissipate any heat. it will just sit there heating up the inside of the radio making it drift hard on SSB...

I know people that put that stuff in the dish washer... and i shack my head... the thing i have with water is it will stay in the tuning cans and it is tap water with shit in it... You need to flush that shit out by soaking it in alcohol then blowing warm air over it...

why the hell is he pushing the guy to get new meters if there working??? and talking about money? is this not straiten out though the phone? this is why i learned to work on my own stuff for the price he charges i got my oun freq scope and bench top multi meter.. feq gen will be soon..
