If you listen to the freqs. you posted you won't hear anything worth listening to.
Tune around & you will find a lot of ops to have sensible qsos with.
These actually were pretty accurate & consistent all through their production runs.
A little hard to read due to size but useful.
Also even though the switch on the unit is marked avg. &pep if you read the description on the box
it says peak power not pep.
Get a used ts-570d they work very well on am. Pair it with an Ameritron 811 amp
And you will have a very good station putting out a solid clean signal.
Shop Around, you could do the pair for 800-900 dollars & have all modes covered.
From what I understand no meter can read PEP only peak power.
Peak envelope power occurs so fast that no meter could respond fast enough.
Only true way to show pep in on a scope.

Spend the money once & make it as sturdy as possible, if you don't you will be doing...

I had a Yaesu 800 rotor,10' section of rigid conduit for a mast pole through a good thrust bearing, beam was a 20' boom with 4 elements vert. & horiz & a Imax 2000 above
the beam. Also at bottom of Hazer is a 8' lenght of...
When I had my 4 element beam I had a guide from the bottom of the hazer now all that's up there is a IMAX 2000 and a small 2 meter and 440 vertical I don't have a guide now
Spend the extra bucks & get a Hazer for your tower, the older you get the more you will
be glad you did.
I have a 40 ' Rohn25 with a Hazer & when severe WX is predicted everything comes down to 10' above ground.
When I was 55 I could climb that tower like a squirrel now at 72 I would not even...
They may all be wired the same at the mic plug but if the audio line is not moved or jumpered to the hot side of the switch in the base of the mic vox won't work.
