    I set the dead key on the 955 stryker to bare min at first, it was deadkeying the ts500v at just under 100W. But swing was to just 250W or thereof pep. I adjusted the variable on the 955 to get a 100w DK on it now swings to 280W or pep. With 150W deadkey it swings to almost 400 pep. Am I doing...

    Cheers sorted it out. Just a few queries. I set the dead key on the 955 stryker to 10W, it swings to 20W on AM only. Then with amp powered on the watt meter shows too much of high dead key, also the meter on the texas star is on the 10 scale. So I lowered the deadkey on the 955 with the amp off...

    I think i understand now. The attached in previous post service manual with very difficult to read writing was calling on 2kw test calibration, i guess this is moot if im running sub 1kw power. I thought that perhaps there might be a way to measure watts if one has amps and volts and a dummy...

    My first attempt of recording locals talking on air, they all sound shit. Is it me or them? Muffled sounding . Funny thing is most nights one of them sounds okay but not this evening.
