Sorry we couldn't make contact with each other,made contact with 2 South Carolina station's ( UDX 483,Unit 948) and a station out of Florida (Unit 45), thought I would fire up the Ranger for a little bit before I leave for lunch with my Dad and my Son and daughter, conditions are booming up here...

Planning on being on the air after 2pm on 38 and 40 LSB, Conditions at the moment look pretty promising,we shall see, hopefully can make some Dx contacts!

Im wondering that if they did have HF,is it possible in theory to reach them?? Just curious.......

I'll keep my Ranger 2950, simple and easy to use and Rock solid on SSB, hardly any menu to have to fool with!

Interesting.....I just got home with my Dad after having lunch with my kid's, decided to fire up the Ranger for a few minutes, absolutely quiet up here in Central Pennsylvania, nothing but static out there, might try again later this afternoon,I'm off to take my Sunday Nap!!

No, however I turned down my Mic gain to 6 on the Radio and keep the Mic set at 8!!

Sounds like this weekend ahead for Radio time and Dxing is going to be a washout due to the conditions above,I heard that some more Solar Storms might hit Earth in the coming days ( smaller ones) Still I'm planning on firing up the Ranger on Sunday after 2pm and will be listening on 38 and 40...

I'll be checking in on 16 LSB on Sunday the 26 after 2pm since I work on Saturday the 25th, hope to make some contacts with some WDX members that day hopefully, looking forward to it!! 73's

That is good, however as the bill is written now,it appears that it'll a Crime in PA to use a CB radio in your personal vehicle while moving or even temporarily stopped,unless you are a CDL commercial driver,or ham radio ( nothing against that) or a emergency responder,I'm glad they put the...

Seems like quality control when it comes to CBs no longer exists,unlike the 60's,70's and 80's when quality radios were still being produced and they still work,or so it seems.
