If it's a mobile bearing the "Washington" name it just shows that the current regime at President has no idea what they're doing and they're pretty much just riding on the reputation their forebearers built.

Very doubtful. Seems like most of the new mobile radios have menu buttons, and 2 maybe 3 knows. IMO, driver unfriendly.
I much prefer the knobs on my Grant XL to a menu button that one has to read to adjust things.

I predict anemic, FCC approved power output, 40 channels, and an outrageous price point.
Maybe they'll throw in a failing display like the 980 for good measure.

Seems like quality control when it comes to CBs no longer exists,unlike the 60's,70's and 80's when quality radios were still being produced and they still work,or so it seems.

Yeah, just reading the comments from Simon's site. It appears to be a 10/12 meter radio like the Lincoln 2+, and I am guessing that it will be in the same price range. It might even be the replacement for the Lincoln, but I will save my money for a base.

I will not buy one. I messed up and bought a welder with the new buttons and display, I don't like it, wish I had bought buttons.
