Interesting. A group of hams in New England have a guy takes care of all of the electronic crap currently, at a radio station (no idea) who mentioned it when the topic swung into that area of radio. From what I gathered, they're an older station, more or less behind the times. I'll look through...
And yet commercial FM radio stations use a tiny bit of reverb. It's not a club-on-your-head reverb, but finally adjusted. I once talked to another station who had great audio and I told him so. That's when he said he was using a "touch" of reverb. He did a Reverb ON/OFF to let my ears be the...
Good review! and it's the beginning of "Amazon Days" (today & tomorrow). I looked it up and see it's on sale and going for $99.99 which is a price I thought I'd never see 20 years ago. I scrolled down and saw it's doppelganger, the AnyTone AT-778UV which is $129.99, and not on sale + it comes...

I've bought several items from them (George FCC, President NC mic, and BT mic) and never had an issue. I'll get the new Washington from them as well, when it's in stock.

Yeah, that's what my Dad paid ($20) in '68. I was too young to get my own, but it was for my use, and God help me if I got him in trouble over something illegal, like talking skip. I think the only time he used a CB (Midland 13-857b) was when my family ('cept me) moved from Connecticut to Texas...
Well, it wasn't in either closet, so I guess I did sell it and forgot about it (sometimes I see pictures I took of other radios I've owned, sold, and even didn't remember I actually owned it). Sorry to get your hopes up, Woody
One of the best from Kenwood. I foolishly sold mine around 2005, but in 2020 one popped up at a decent price, re-capped and de-glued. This one's a keeper.
