How does the FCC plan to collect the fine? My guess is that it has to do with what my late father used to say: "wish in one hand, and [excrement] in the other, and see which one fills up first."
;)
Just when I thought I had forgotten about all of the bad perms of the 1980s, someone posts a video that makes wanna yack in my lunch pail.
:cursing::eek:
Guys with perms... YIKES!
The thing I found hilarious about this video is that the idiotic driver took the time to activate his hazard lights after wrecking the truck -- as if he needed to alert approaching "traffic" about some problem up ahead, lol. :laugh:
From my point of view, being in all of that "structure" would have sent me straight out the door as soon as that first gust of wind hit it. The height, coupled with the wind factor would have sent me "chumming" the forest, below. ;)
I know, I know. I just thought it might be a "halfway decent" antenna that could shoot skip somewhat "marginally," lol. :D
I honestly couldn't even fathom an amateur antenna system like that until a few of you posted about it last year. :scared:
Yep. Simply put, the math usually never works out. You may be "saving" money on fuel, but you've just borrowed, at interest, a minimum of $20K to save a few dollars at the pump. Then there's the immediate increase in your electric bill. It's like spending a dollar in order save twenty cents...
In other words, this whole thing would have been avoided if the watery tart had simply worn a life-vest.
(Sorry, didn't mean to detract from the Ham's contribution, which is obvious).
