He was indeed. I had to turn the volume down when I spoke to him. On one voice peak he hit +30dB.

Was able to log Argentina, Uruguay, and Costa Rica today. Still kicking myself for not getting my ham license sooner. Now to upgrade to general to have more freqs to play on!
