Of course all the best propagation happens while I'm stuck at the office. :)

Wonder if it'll hold out until the weekend.

Heard lots of DX today while mobile. (18 wheeler) Worked a few. And had a LONG chat
with a guy in New York. Almost half an hour! All while I'm driving. The guy was a new Tech and he was having a blast. (as was I) Glad to see things picking up on 10 meters again.
I work the lower bands mobile too. But, 10 has always been one of my favorites.

Worked ZS1AFS, Tom, this morning while mobile (18 wheeler)!!
At first, I thought he was a ZL ! I kept wondering what kind of
propagation was occurring that would make that contact in the
morning local time!! (8 am) In the past, I have worked New Zealand
in the late evenings here in Central Texas.
Later, after I had a chance to hear some of his other contacts,
I realized he was not a ZL but, a ZS.......South Africa!!!
:blush::blush:
Emailed him earlier, hope he remembers me!!!
I had asked him to verify contact via qrz.com as I was driving down
the interstate and could not record the contact!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will do it!
10 Meters is a fun band when it is open. I'm glad to see it again!

These are the times in the solar cycle that make up for the dead years when we all hear nothing but static on 10 meters!!!
