Was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction on finding a 10 turn pot that would work on a old school 148 GTL's clarifier , one that might fit one way or the other. Much thanks ! Switch Kit

To get this to fit in a 148GTL, you will need to make some mounting/fitting modifications.

Another option is to use a Cobra 2000 clarifier. It will give you a Course & Fine and will physically fit without modifications. You will need to use "Keyed" knobs but they aren't that hard to find. 20KB + 1KB

Shadetree has the right idea. A multiturn pot is not that useful without a turns-count dial on it. The position of the knob alone tells you little about where a 10-turn control is set.

The count dials tend to cost more than the control, and present a mechanical issue getting them mounted.

Not the best solution IMHO.

So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
