Finally get conditions and couldn't make a contact. 38 was a mess. Moved up to triple 5 USB and talked to a station in Tennessee.
Made a great contact with WDX556/S&W357! Excellent signal and great audio from the Anytone 6666 Ralph!

Excellent DX Day! Highlight of it all was having a nice QSO with forum member Dmans aka MS-481. Enjoyed talking to you David! You were clearing the airways coming into NC.
Talked with stations in 14 different states with multiple contacts in several of those states.

I think one has better chances on the bowl right now. LSB 38 is a nut house. Oh, I hear some Dave Allen Coe playing now on the LSB 38 Radio hour.
Prior to today I never received more than a few seconds since this thread convinced me to chase it.

Aimed wrong direction.
Not turned on long enough.
Etc.
Even to the point I couldn’t get my radio dialed in so brief has been RX.
Meaning, in under two minutes I’d heard more on SSB than ever before.
Ever.

I’m 3.5-hours in.
It was a relief to turn SW at Cleveland down IH71. Fewer. Clearer. Ahh, here we go.
