11 meter is very quiet?

I went up to ch21 this morning but had no conditions at all. I visited back a few times thru the day but mother nature was not favorable. I'll catch you in there soon, brother....

Oklahoma was alive and kicking all day on AM-19. From Fort Sill to Guthrie, from Tulsa to Tahlequah, and thence to Big Cabin.

Best state in the Union for CB. (Tennessee comes close some days). Arkansas is okay and the Texas Panhandle gets quieter past Armadillo.
North Carolina comes awake at The Gorge, and there's plenty of boolsheet past Knoxville.

Interstate 40 is the CB Big Road.

I hollered atcha from Muskogee, GeeGollyWally, (my southernmost point). But you whacked what you thought was a skeeter. (Needn' a better antenna than Mommas underwire flown from the FM aerial on the Chubby. No, it’s not an endfed) ).

Hey, 808. This is what I was using for my antenna while we talked. I even have a tower between my 4th and 5th elements lol...This thing is fixed pointing magnetic north and has a 1.03:1 match sitting as it is. I was using my Texas Ranger Elite mobile radio swinging 20 watts with my D-104. No linear. I can't run a linear because it is too close to the ground (about knee height) and would get too much ground reflection cancelling out my signal. Had to post this pic 'cause a lot of people I talk to off this 45 foot long beam don't believe me that it's just off the ground. I need to cut a few branches and I'm going to use my Gin pole to put it up on that 20 foot tower with NO rotor. Was a pleasure talking to you bro. 808 you sounded amazing, walking those Carolina boys into the big bam. Don't touch a thing....your setup sounds SWEET!!!!

Wow! That is amazing! The take off angle must really work well for our "short" distance skip? I would think the angle would be rather steep maybe. I think your path to magnetic north would put it slightly to the west of me, not sure. Makes me want to put my Sirio 27-4 together and put it on plastic saw horses in different parts of the yard. Maybe this would be an indication of the best spot to put my 40ft tower? Always great to make the contact and talk to you, even if it is very brief. I heard some locals talking in the skip, and had to give you a holler. Haha. Your excellent audio is hard to miss.

I'm up here in West Virginia, working Slowmover but glad you thought of me.
LC sent me a text, he's finishing up on my mic, then it's just a matter of paying him and getting my equipment back. My Maddison looks amazing, can't wait to see it in person.:)
