11 meter is very quiet?

I'm hearing the blah blah guy this morning. Kinda annoying but funny at the same time.

He kept buying radios . . . but instead of authenticating & establishing provenance via certification as a Radio Museum Curator to leave intact the shipping seal,

he opened all the boxes at once.

Even Superman can’t take that much kryptonite without permanent damage.

The “blah, blah, blah...” repeating guy is annoying.

As is the high pitched voice “bye, bye Trump...“ repeating guy (or female?)

Also the “ hello, hello, can anybody hear me...” repeating guy.

The .385 LSB arse holes. And there are more. Flushed away quickly by a slight turn of the dial or push of a button.

Nothing much on-air today. Not like the last few. Instead, played Merle Haggard in his greatest live performance, Austin City Limits, 1978.

Stopped at Radio Dead Valley in eastern-most Oklahoma.

Maybe there’s something to eat here at the Choctaw Travel Center, and maybe not. (Chili’s, next door.)

Just the sound of diesel lawnmower engines on the back row of this truck stop (everybody’s APU running).

Time to get home (tomorrow) and find another way to get in over my head

Not much yesterday en route across D/FW and thence to OKC.

The regulars up here on AM-19 in fine form as always last night. Literally no other city I enjoy as much.

Kicked on the APU just now to make coffee and run the AC (humidity). That sure kills any sensitivity, ha!
