Good Heaven's... after about 2 minutes of that...my ears are ringing...
no communication...just everybody screaming thru the garbage of noise toys and Heterodyne.
To each is own...:eek::confused:

Bassmaster was doing his thing from Florida into NC last night. Tried a few times on his watergates, but never heard myself on the playback.

Yep, i agree. When conditions are ripe its noisy on 28 and 19 is even worse. That may change some after i get some beams up.
28 is a lot like 6 and 11 with heavy traffic and high noise levels. 22, 24 and 26 are a lot less noise but less popular also. 28 is one of my local channels along with 19 so ive learned to ignore some of the noise.
Wait till i post up some local channel 19 shenanigans. Makes the skip seem quiet :ROFLMAO:

Packing my stuff. I will leave early (like 4:am EDST) or before, so that I arrive at the contest station no later than 5:30 am.(80 mile drive)
I start my board shift at 6:00 am EDST:)
Hopefully these T-Storm loose their steam before I go on. Not so much of and issue on 40 meters...but if there are stations on 80 or 160 meters we need the noise really becomes and issue. Even with the beverage and loop pendent receive antennas it is hard to ear through the crashes.
Anyway time to work some SERIOUS DX...Asia/South Pacific...I am coming your way!!!
I'll be on 20 meters after Sunrise...then about Noon try and catch a few Zzzz's and then back on shift at 6:00PM till Midnight or later if the bands stay open.
I may be up All night!!!
Hard to walk away when Europe or the S. Pacific is still calling!!!:love::ROFLMAO:
You never know when a NEW one will call!
All the Best...Hope the Band Gods are good to all!
