11 meter is very quiet?

Been getting hammered with skip on AM since last night. Made a few contacts on SSB but it's overwhelming on AM. I keep getting 10 people keying up at the same time calling out to me and my little 50w radio when I try to make a contact lol. I'll try again in a bit if it settles down a little.

Well shucks hate I missed you. Would have been nice to talk to you again(y)

Ended up working stations in Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Arkansas, Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, California then big electrical storm happened. Unplugged and disconnected...for now :sneaky:

The roar settled down enough for me to make contact with a few tonight.
West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin sounded great, didn't last long though. I shut down when the army of roger beeps and cranked up echoes took over again. All good though, everyone runs their radio how they want and I'm ok with that.

Last night made a few contacts lsb with excellent conditions. During the day today signals were a little weaker ssb but D-rail and motor mouth maul were sounding excellent on Am. Interesting how mother nature can keep us in suspense.

I know these guys get a lot of hate, but The Motor mouth and D-rail stations sure sounded top shelf today
