19* this Am w/No Wind . Now here's the good news !
Put the dog out last night @ 6:30 Pm as usual & turned my radio on after , Glad I did ! Dx was like it use to be w/locals back in the late 70's/80's !
No Lie ! I started on Ch 1 (AM ) & made my first contact it was short Dx , Op in Boston said he was taking tolls after I called out . I hit another stage & said " Don't worry about me I have an Easy Pass ! Not sure he appreciated that .
Then proceeded up the channels Except 6 ( too many Big Radio's but now I wish I tried ) . I got bored after going in sequence to Ch 9 ( Bust also but I'm Old School & still think it for Emergencies )
Then I stated skipping a few , but passing them they had active Dx . Went up the SSB Channels & made contacts there . Iv'e been on 11m over 50 years & never have I seen conditions on my end like this being so thick & being able to participate in it !
I hope it happens again but wow it got confusing w/ all the op's coming back to me and having to respond to them in the proper sequence .
I hope this happens again ! Did anyone else have these conditions last night ? Most of my contacts were Nc, Georgia , Tn & Sc ! 73 , Leo
