I don't think most people on a US-based CB board are going to understand the term "Muppets" (children's TV program in the 1970s/1980s) as referencing the 27/81 UK FM band, so here's an origin quote from transmission1.net

I didn't try 11 meters today but had a big time on 10 meters with 100 watts and a horizontal dipole.

At work and just listening through the day on 27.185 it was one heck of a pileup from coast to coast. The conditions are there for someone to enjoy.
becoming actice on 27.385lsb .figured id hear more cause we got inches of snow
the new lincoln worked great last nite. on am ch 22 i talked to several guys in south carolina and north east georgia. no leenyer just factory power. everybody said the radio sounded great. then later on on 27.435 lsb talked local was told it works fine on ssb, was a great evening

80 degrees? I could only wish! We just had a "Bomb Cyclone" dump snow on us, Biggest snow flakes I have seen all winter. Only amounted to an inch for us. But with the high winds, I tipped my antenna mast down just incase.
Dude that’s wild!! Good idea on antenna…take precautions.
Our “winter” was very mild this year. Even for us. Got some rain but nowhere where we should be.

We should be out of snow season now, but Easter Egg hunts with snow flurries is not out of the question.
Made some 37lsb and 39lsb contacts with Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas.
Also made Needlebender 777 YouTube gate! Number 42 on his list. Went and played back the live vid and heard myself!!! I sounded off frequency. LOL
