I checked a few hours ago at it was dead. Usually picks back up for me in a few hours. I'm about to take advantage of this down time, and raise my antenna up to get it above 30 feet, and get a better ground on it.

Nice little short skip up the west coast. Cool contact with 223 and 1910 in Northern California.
Heard a lot of it last night, my weak 12W didn't get me anywhere. West coast short skip
Ended the night with 14 contacts. Raising my antenna and getting that ground done me good
Finally got a chance to power things up but only very faint voices here tonight.
Conditions changing by the second here. 7 contacts so far.
Ended the night with 7 contacts. Hawaii being my farthest tonight
lots of short skip last nite . i did get couple contacts on 28 and 38lsb
Made a single contact yesterday with "Hardwire" on 38LSB, not sure where he's from though. Other than that I was pretty much just talking to myself.

I’ve heard “Hardwire” out there before. I also have no idea where he is.
I've heard hardrive, on both 19 and 38lsb. He puts a recording on and lets it go. This guy is in new mexico, near gallup I think

you are correct, just heard on 38 some talking about where he is and straightening him out. He must run a lot of power.
He claims to be barefoot but its obvious he is running a boat load of power
