Europe is blasting in up on 555 get it while it's hot!!
And it figures I'm not home, dammit.
Makes two of us….my T4R is in the shop for service. Antenna and mic removed.
I haven't heard Europe in years. Living in the Midwest I don't get across the pond. Hope to hear Europe when we move.
Crazy skip day Friday. Booming into the desert southwest here on 37 & 38 LSB were New York, Ontario province, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. At sunset Tasmania, Australia (43WR44) coming in from across the Pacific. Was only able to work a local on the barefoot Uniden. The radio can't bust through a pile-up.

Ya it was jumping on a lot of channels. Even 38lsb was a pet store. Had to go to 36lsb and had a good clear QSO with North Carolina. Wasn’t sure he coming back to me because he had my numbers all out of order. LOL We cleared up the confusion and talked!
AM 27.285 from N Ca - Ga/Tn/Mi/Al/Ky. Heard 813 Tampa loud, but couldn't get back.
Had a local 5 miles ahead of me on the highway, we were taking turns making all the same qso's.....

RT listen in the morning up on 555. If your hearing New England might hear Europe as well.
I once hit Birmingham, UK from a mobile in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Anything is possible with conditions.
