11 meter is very quiet?

I squeezed out Iowa on the way home from a VA appointment today, but again the channels were filled with buzz so I know my radio is just small potatoes compared to some of them. Maybe eventually I'll get time to hook up my KL-300 P for hopefully a little more Juice. What do the Pros in here think of the comparison between 200P & 300P, is it worth the Bother?

This evening the band was wide open here and I worked the upper side of 11 meters for for a couple of hours solid. As @Brother DXer says, my hand was cramping from keying down so much :ROFLMAO:!

I had the chance to get that q6 pro hot enough to fry bacon and it just kept on going.

We'll call it a very successful evening in the world of dx

What freq is everyone sitting on? I'm bouncing around 35 thru 40, and .400, .415, .420, .425. Never hear you guys.
I sort of hang-out on 28 AM, but I think it's time to move onto the uppers and sideband frequencies because it seem as though more and more toy noisemakers are coming out of the woodwork.

We have Texas in the receiver this evening. I can hear someone calling Australia. But my luck would have it that they can't hear me....... I will keep trying....
I called cq a while ago and got a bunch of trash talkers littering the channel with childish slander.

I'll go try again and see if now there are intelligent folks on.

Today is great.talked to 237 in boston about 330 pm on 27.395 lsb .had a great chat about 15 minutes long
Had a great chat
About the opposite around here. Heard some traffic but nothing like the last 2-3 days. But was playing catch up from playing Doctor visits the last 3 days and now back to fall prep work. Keeps me out of mischief and makes Jack a Dull Boy.

Work has deprived me of radio most of the month. My last contact was Oct 3rd. I've made several contacts over the past hour, and still working 'em. Most are from the NE, Canada and Northern Cali.

Also made contact with @Shadetree Mechanic but there were too many stations booming into my radio to get in a qso.

Edit: 555 USB is great at the moment. 18:25 Central..
