11 meter is very quiet?

Oh, forget the say that the antenna I am using today is the vertical dipole I made out of two mobile whips mounted to the balcony with the feed point about ten feet above ground, that's how hot the band is.
(I also worked Japan and South Korea on this same antenna in the last week.)
Work them radios boys, the dx is hot, it is noisy, but if you dig there are stations out there and some rare dx to be had.

It was good to hear you as well. You had a good signal and audio my way but it started to fade a little. I like the sound of your Delta mike. I am running a Stryker 955 into a worn out 4' firestik. I am located just east of Ft Smith Arkansas. I was broke down 2 days and now waiting to load something tomorrow. 73.

Thank you for the contact, I love the M2 Delta Mic,I have had nothing but compliments from other operators out there on my audio and I highly recommend it,if I may suggest you might consider replacing the worn out firestik with a Wilson 2000 trucker antenna,I bet your signal would be even better than it is now, just a suggestion, I used to help out at my local CB shop when I was in high School and I remember that those were the go to antenna for truckers left and right at least in our area, you were sounding pretty good other than the other stations and qrm, have a great day today,Safe travels and Happy upcoming Thanksgiving!!
