He was asking if solid wire vs stranded #10awg, I would use stranded not solid if possible. If I read the post right. Yes sir, try to use at least #10awg stranded wire not solid. Like I posted, check any car stereo shop or even Walmart for some car stereo wire like that used for car amps. And it never hurts to go larger than you need, like using #8 or even #4awg. Just in case you get the radio bug and decide to upgrade amps, you already have larger wire to accommodate a larger system. And IMO I would get a good in line fuse block to put near the battery. And use the same size wire for ground as you do for power and make the ground as short as possible and ground it to a seat bolt or something that grounds to the chassis. All JMO, but spend the time on a good install and it will return you with good performance. JMO and then there's the antenna system, don't skimp out in this area as well. JMO. Good luck and god bless
