I think it's called a C13 pc plug. I may be wrong but I think that's it.

Try 2 prong appliance cable in a search engine. Might can match one up.

Probably has an industry-standard name. Don't know where to look it up.

Got lazy for decades, bought them from MCM as a "27-040" cord.

And then MCM got absorbed by Newark/Element 14. Went to buy some for stock a while back, and they never heard of it.

It's for 120VAC, not 13.8VDC...

Walmart has several variants and they fit the different appliances.
So perhaps the best way to search is to use 2-pin cord for Coffeemaker
Without an appliance - You get this...

From Walmart but is specific to MAKER of the cord...
Try this search instead ...

You get a whole slew of them...
Because of the appliance it's used by.

haha, was waitin to see who else seen 13.8 v

Found out why they never heard of the 27-040 cord.

Used the wrong part number. Not 'twenty-seven' dash oh-four-oh.

Twenty-three dash 040.

DOH! Measure once, cut twice.

That number produces a return at Newark/Element 14. Says they are out of them. But it shows the "IEC320-7" number on that page.

Just one problem. A glance at the cord they do have on hand, the 23-196 is clearly not the same. Looks as if it would not fit the socket meant for the one with four square corners. The IEC connector is just larger.

But that IEC number is on the 23-040 page.

I guess one good foulup deserves another.
