Just for S n G i got on 16 lsb,so quiet you could hear a mouse break wind far away
CB was pretty quiet down here today. I heard a few distant stations on LSB 38, but they were just barely above the static. However, I did pick up some AM skip on 6 and on 15.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that August 10-11 window.

My replacement Shakespeare 176-1 goes up in a few hours. I'd like to hear a little skip roll in just to compare this one's performance with the 35 year old one (Radio Shack version) it is replacing.

Quiets Not the word for it ! So quiet this Am I was hearing Fall River Mass like I did 40 years ago ! I had to reach over & shut my amp off so I didn't blow any windows out . No amp 10Db's + into Mass . Believe me it hasn't happened in a while . On my end anyway .
As the Crow fly's only about 25 miles from me across Narragansett Bay , but a lot of QRM in between most of the time . I'm almost directly in line .
Wow, I just have a nice qso with Mike 105 from Indiana here on ch16 lsb and 211 op Randy Illinois. Both station was 59 here in NJ

The A99 is up complete with my FS 99 "snake oil" tip. SWRs are from 1.27 on channel 1 to 1.54 on channel 40. I'll take them for now. Tweaking will come later.
