Its OK if the diameter is bigger than my mast?
Just using it with a 12foot mast and my 27 foot 10m antenna in the backyard

it does look like a 1.25 OD as he has the tape sitting across the pipe,but he has the tape off centered in relation to the pipe,if you follow the curve of the pipe around to the other side of the tape it should be really close to the 1.5 inch mark
 
OK Duster ya got me :p ...I didnt look at teh center line of the tape..... it falls somewhere between 1 and 5/16 and 1 and 3/8 inch ...still will make a good antenna pole ;)
 
1-1/4" OD thin-wall tubing. Does not look like a "genuine" section of iron pipe, maybe really old and rusted fence top-rail?
