No clue how bout you? Both set up, how do they compare? Not fair to set up just one.
After the conversion there’s no need for alignment or tuning ? That’s pretty cool. How bout setting the DK on the variable?Thing with the Stryker is you don't having to go any extra steps for it to perform because it just does right out of the box! Other than frequency conversion that is
Alignment depends as no 2 are alike, really referring to not needing to do any kind of swing mods to make it talk. After the conversion there’s no need for alignment or tuning ? That’s pretty cool. How bout setting the DK on the variable?
Ok so after the conversation she’s good to go tx rx .Alignment depends as no 2 are alike, really referring to not needing to do any kind of swing mods to make it talk.
Haven't heard either one. Haven't been in a CB store since 1994 when I bought a BC2500XLT with the cell mod. I can tell you stories about what I heard. No clue how bout you?
You're gonna drive me to drinkingExcept for my President Lincoln
So what are you saying ? Go with the Stryker? You're gonna drive me to drinking
If you don't stop keying that hot rod Lincoln.
So what are you saying ? Go with the Stryker?
Thanks . I never talked Ssb so I wonder if I would even like it. I can tell you all I ever talked on was a comp cobra 4 pill. Not to be a dick but I’m not to sure anyone out talked that radio while I’m in a conversation up and down the road. It’s a skip talking monster. If your primary care is AM audio then get the stryker.
I like my Linc2+ and use it all during my work day to pass time as I drive from site to site. Its a jack of all trades master of none type radio. It can do FM, PL/DPL, repeater splits, 12meters, 10 meters, real VFO, CW.. If you don't care about those things then whats the point. It does good on SSB but some say it is bland on AM. Its surface mount so doing the mods that some smart members here came up with for AM might not be for the faint of heart. Its an all around OK ham radio that can do CB as well.
Stryker radios are from the get go for the CBer. CB guys want big AM and big SSB that can punch through pile ups. You can do more on the Linc then a stryker but you would have to work real hard to make the Linc sound as good as an out of box stryker on AM.
The Linc also needs a "mod" to work on CB. Out of the box it is a 12/10 meter ham radio.
If your in to talking skip then SSB is a strait up requirement IMO. It is a whole 'nother world. Lots of times when AM is dead 38LSB is rolling.I never talked Ssb so I wonder if I would even like it.
Hmmm cool. How about the galaxy 99v2 for Ssb and am audio ?If your in to talking skip then SSB is a strait up requirement IMO. It is a whole 'nother world. Lots of times when AM is dead 38LSB is rolling.
