Order the new capacitors and rectifying board from harbach found someone pretty close to install but I think the tubes are a little weak so saving up now for some new Taylor graphite tubes for it..

Do it right...Order the NEW FAN and soft key kit have installed...
Higher output fan...nice quiet bearings
Soft key kit...even if using foot switch...the original SB220 key voltage can be 110-130 DC across the key plug...OUCH!!!...

The motor features “oilite” bearings for quiet operation. The motor is rated at 30% greater RPM than the original so it moves a bit more air than the original fan. This new fan motor is the best defense against tube failure due to overheating.

This unit is mounted inside the amplifier and transforms the 120VDC key closure to approximately 0.7VDC at 1.5mA.

Labor to install both kits...couple extra hours at best...I have installed the new fan kit several times 15-20 minute job...Key kit...maybe another hour...MHO

Alright have the fan coming from harbach now. Next step I think the tubes are definitely weak being over 30 years old what would be the best choice for tubes?? RF Parts are out right now I'm on a waiting list but I see there is other brands out there machette and and Penta brand.. anyone have any suggestion on the best tube to use..3-500zg...
