Yeah! HDX figured how to post pics!!

Here's a little tip on posting multiple pics with text. You can do it all in one "reply". CLICK PHOTOS BELOW TO ENLARGE

1.) Scroll down to the reply window and click the "Go Advanced" button under the text window.

2.) Use the "paperclip" icon in the advanced toolbar to select and upload the photos that you want to post from your computer.

3.) Clicking the paperclip will open a "manage attachments" window. In that window, use the "browse" button to select the pictures you want from your computer.

4.) After selecting the pics that you want to add, hit the "upload" button while still in the "manage attachments" window.

5.) Go back to the text box and start typing. When you want to insert a picture, use the enter button to drop the cursor down to the next line, then click the "paperclip" icon again and a list of your uploaded pictures will appear. Select the picture that you want to place in your post.

6.) After adding the picture, hit the enter button to drop the cursor to the next line (hit it twice to leave a space), then type the title of your next pic. Enter to drop the cursor again, hit the paperclip to add another pic, etc, etc, etc...
Your reply window should now look like this...

At any time in the process, you can view what your post will look like before actually posting it by using the "preview post" button at the bottom of the page.

Your three posts for three pics (before MY post) would have looked like this...

Another tip... Save yourself some grief and resize pics to about 1500 on the longest side before posting. You might also want to check the setting on your camera/phone for resolution. many of them are set to "kill" out of the factory. Try setting it to "stun" and you shouldn't have to re-size your pics at all.

Still with me? I'll probably re-post the step by step "how to" and pin it to the top of the KAO forum for easy access.

Hope that helps. Don't fear the photos!

Nice find, Mark - thanks for posting (y)

Also, if you can resize your [LARGE MP] pix to as small as possible, and convert them to .jpg, .jpeg or .gif files, they take up less www bandwidth and HDD space.

I can't do screen prints on this PC, but there's a ATTACHMENT KEY (chart) further down in the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS box, that shows the file types and MAX file sizes that can be uploaded.

Yep ... it's workin' :D

mark the scrapr, your add and open tabs give away a little bit of your browsing habits in the tutorial :). screenshots lol. try using Mozilla addons called addblock+ (i think), ghostery (the most useful) and some other ones for youtube and instant translation. It helps with the redirects and adds and tracking issues, the translator is a swipe style and the youtube thing doesnt play the videos until theyve buffered to a given %.

I know... I was looking at it like "WTF did I leave open?!"

I've tried ad blockers before Rob and they slowed me down to a crawl, blocked things I didn't want blocked, etc... I may try the one you suggested, but I'm not holding my breath.

If its slowing you down, theres no point in the add ons for you. I was just laughing at the idea of a smutty tab open for the screenshot.

I did at least look at the open tabs before I "caught" the screen. I did have to refresh the page a few times because of the google ad on the left size. I figured the gun was better than a viagra, hair club for men, or manzeer ad...
