Yeah! HDX figured how to post pics!!
Here's a little tip on posting multiple pics with text. You can do it all in one "reply". CLICK PHOTOS BELOW TO ENLARGE
1.) Scroll down to the reply window and click the "Go Advanced" button under the text window.
2.) Use the "paperclip" icon in the advanced toolbar to select and upload the photos that you want to post from your computer.
3.) Clicking the paperclip will open a "manage attachments" window. In that window, use the "browse" button to select the pictures you want from your computer.
4.) After selecting the pics that you want to add, hit the "upload" button while still in the "manage attachments" window.
5.) Go back to the text box and start typing. When you want to insert a picture, use the enter button to drop the cursor down to the next line, then click the "paperclip" icon again and a list of your uploaded pictures will appear. Select the picture that you want to place in your post.
6.) After adding the picture, hit the enter button to drop the cursor to the next line (hit it twice to leave a space), then type the title of your next pic. Enter to drop the cursor again, hit the paperclip to add another pic, etc, etc, etc...
Your reply window should now look like this...
At any time in the process, you can view what your post will look like before actually posting it by using the "preview post" button at the bottom of the page.
Your three posts for three pics (before MY post) would have looked like this...
40 meters at night to Glendora
Rob KK6GUN on top of the Rolling IPA Pub
K6DXN Camp Trailer deployed
Another tip... Save yourself some grief and resize pics to about 1500 on the longest side before posting. You might also want to check the setting on your camera/phone for resolution. many of them are set to "kill" out of the factory. Try setting it to "stun" and you shouldn't have to re-size your pics at all.
Still with me? I'll probably re-post the step by step "how to" and pin it to the top of the KAO forum for easy access.
Hope that helps. Don't fear the photos!
