FREQUENCY AND TIME FOR CONTACTS

Just talked to @Brother DXer on .375
It's tough out here.
Lots of traffic
There were brief instances when you were coming in loud and clear then the pile would cover you up. But I set there and listened after we talked and I could hear you making contact with other stations. Thanks, Jeff.

I'm on right now listening to .3750 but subject to change according to the pileup.

I listened on .375 for a few, it sounded busy as hell but almost civilized. Spun up to .385 and there was music playing and some psycho screaming. Reminds me why I fled.

So many stations coming in right now it's just a roar of noise on 36 thru 40! Tried 16LSB and 35USB for WWDX members with no luck. Tons of splatter and noise on both those frequencies. There are loud Aussie's on 35LSB so upper side is pretty rough with the splatter, which doesn't bode well for tomorrow. Also have a couple of guys on the super bowl right now who are wiping out pretty much everything from 26 to 28 MHz with splatter.
I think conditions are a little too good today LOL!

So much traffic, and propagation was moving a lot this morning. Had to fight to work 226 through the mess, called on 16 and 35 usb, just too much traffic.
Cycle is hot and all over the place.

It was rough and tough here on the west coast today on 35-40, ten was hopping with lots of contest stations.

10m was contest jam-packed from 28.300 up to .900 or so. I don't contest but worked a few DXCC islands and a few states I didn't have. No doubt it will repeat tomorrow.
There's been some folks bitchin on other forums about how lousy Cycle 25 has been, but it's been a blast in my shack. Hope it sticks around awhile.

Happy DXing people!

Ten was hot with people contesting, I was up on AM and found a few stations.
I won't mention calls but it was funny, guys tuning up on AM, audioooooo, audio lol.
Even FM simplex was active today, I think guys were digging out old rigs just because the contest reminded everyone that ten is still there.
At least you don't have to fight so hard up there even with a contest going on.
Ten meters is a very underused band with so much space.

Had a blast on 10 today. Tons of activity from all over here in the Midwest. Nice to just spin the vfo and hear countless stations.

So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
