Good mike for SSB use on a RCI 2995?

I swap a Kenwood MC60a between my 2995dx and dx2527 and the audio quality is outstanding on both radios. You can pick one up used for less money then a D104 and (IMO) the audio quality is far superior. Another nice feature is the frequency up/down buttons on the base of the mic.

If this thread isnt to OLD I will have to agree here... Best $100 I spent for a upgrade, GREAT audio quality

I understand that im only replacing a fixed resistor but, i also did not want to put the resistor in backwards , his picture was so vague and then after posting a few forums i still didnt get a straight answer, on top of that , he has the nerve to call me a dumb shit, i explained that i do not read schematics and did not feel like having to install the mod to find out i did it wrong.
ive tried relentlessly to ask the question as many ways as i can.
i am not an electronics specialist .
its ok, im sure someone will either read thru all these post and tell me or him who the dumb shit is .
apparently hes reported me so, i;ll probably be banned or he will.
anyways, i apologize to anyone i may have offended .
all he had to say was, just take the lead coming from the top of that resistor and run it over to the POT and to install the new resistor back into the board the exact same way i removed the other one.
once again, sorry , i just didnt want to mess up a good mic with tons of un nessesary solder and heat.

I am assuming this diagram i drew is correct ? as he failed to mention there were 3 leads on the POT itself and left that out all together

looks like no one has read any of the forums starting with his picture that he posted.
as i said, i do not read schematics and if this was any other kind of circuit , i could possibly do damage to the electronics .
i know your gonna tell me , they why dont i let someone that knows what they are doing to perform the mod ?
if it was something other then a mic i was working on, i would take it to a teck and have him do the repair but, its not,
he insulted me first , get your facts straight

this has nothing to do with hate or race, where did that come from ?
anyways, no hard feelings
all is forgiven, may god be with you.
and i thought that picture of a conolli was very amusing, im still laughing,
i do appreciate any info i did receive and will attempt the mod myself , will let you know how it works out,
by the way, im not italian lol
im just very spacific and detailed when it comes to trying to learn about new things.
i was born with a disability so, it does take me longer to learn .
at least im trying to better my life by doing something productive rather then giving up.
thanks again for all your help
please have a nice day
