has anyone had a radio built by lesters customs?

Lester has been around a long time. His kit's definitely catch my interest. Those that remember Secret CB? That was Les.
his channel kits seem to be pretty good ill try it more later but its just installed in a basic junk cb (the fact of using a cb chassis to start with rather than a 10 meter that was the first red flag)

That's what i run mobile dave457, along with a magnaforce 350hd. Don't use the amp very often TBH. Radio does well even at only 50 watts.

This should have try and be resolved privately before bringing it public. I'm sure les wont like this, you didn't give the guy a chance to make things right
i did and i got this bullshit email answer of course going past my warranty whichmy answer.jpg is 14 days

how can i post video on here? its time for a vid of this thing in action which only ranks sucks at best i want to show anyone who has had their interest caught by one of these crap radios

im putting the lescomm in my shop truck now i want to test it while the skip is rolling im going to video it and upload it to youtube and paste the link you can see for yourselves

I have 2 of them,, the first one I got right from yeticom (who designed the radio) for around $360 shipped from NZ,, something happened and now they come into the states every few months and show up on ebay ,, 1 left on there now for $259 shipped,, the 2nd one of mine was from ebay

yeticom also has a new style mic if you buy from them,, most who use the optiuma mk3 use an icom hm-36(japan) for great sound

if you compare what you paid for a radio ,, then you had channels added, probly had the clarifier unlocked, the optima comes with all the channels/vfo(10m,11m cb, 12m),, clarifier unlocked, am/fm/ssb, built in cooling fan, and very stable

Camaro1 nailed it!! The optima mk3 has been a pleasure to use mobile, best noise filter of any 10-12m radio I've heard. I bought a few radios before settling on the optima mk3 and the real Japan made hm36 mic per what I had heard camaro1 sounded like. With a tnt 350hd, it will kick some butt on SSB!!

hell im going to get out my entire radio collection im going to make a video for ole "w9" troll there let him watch my hacked 148f convincingly beat a yeasu 101 see what he has to say about that. (my hacked 148f required a rockford fosgate stereo amp to die in the making of it has gold wiring especially in the audio section) on a moonraker 4 i had years back 60ft up the ole 148f would beat many hf rigs (i spent a ridiculous amount of money back then to get this 148f to eat hf rigs just to be a smartass and eat them it will) yes ill make a vid of it in action will receive better than any radio ive ever seen and i have so many i could open a museum, my 148f would rock this 4kw dentron base amp i have too
