Yes this is very true, I have said this before and it still holds true that there will never be quality equipment produced for CB again. There market is just not there anymore. While yes some stuff is going for big dollars its a small select few that are purchasing it. For a manufacture to tool up and start producing something quauity like we had would cost millions and the market is not large enough to support it.
 
i got some ocean front property in jasper county ,mo. its for sale at the discounted price of a billion dollars per square foot too.

Ok well, word it however you want. The bottom line is anyone who pays 5,6,7 hundred dollars or more for a cb radio is out of their mind.

And yet they continue to sell. Would I pay that? No. But some will.
I will say I wished I had bought that pristine Cobra 2000 with the extra speaker I was offered for 200 bucks about 20 years ago though.
Hindsight.

Cmon guys, you do have to remember that these are all extremely rare, vintage and only one was made, ever. You will never see one again in your lifetime. Lol
