I have a puck on the roof of my pickup, and I think the moisture has gotten to the ring terminal connectors. Best I can think of is to tin the braid real well then use liquid tape to try to seal everything up? Any better ideas?

Believe it or not plasticine aka childrens modeling clay will do a good job. It is easily molded and will remain watertight. It has oils in it to prevent moisture getting in as well as keep things looking shiny for years.

Not sure whats available in the states. Silicone sealants here are available in neutral cure or acetic cure. Acetic cure dry faster and are stronger. But they tend to start corrosion on bare metal . I have seen wire and auto panels eaten through after using acetic cure RTV silicone.

If you are unsure a good tip is the acetic variety smells like vinegar.
