I have a puck on the roof of my pickup, and I think the moisture has gotten to the ring terminal connectors. Best I can think of is to tin the braid real well then use liquid tape to try to seal everything up? Any better ideas?
Liquid electrical tape is good but I use silicone sealant. It's tougher than liquid tape and has kept outdoor connections weather tight for many many years.
PLAY-DOHBelieve it or not plasticine aka childrens modeling clay will do a good job. It is easily molded and will remain watertight. It has oils in it to prevent moisture getting in as well as keep things looking shiny for years.

That looks like it would be kinda messy, unless it didn't stick very bad. I bet it is great on connectors though.
