Oh lord yes. I hate that Sam isn’t with us anymore. I hate the S series Magnums are gone and the man behind them. You could call him and sit and talk to him, very helpful man.
When did he answer that last call?

I was banned from copper also. Me and FM got into it about aa post I commented on or something. Whatever it was it was a long time ago. Man has a god complex.
I was also banned from the quack shack. The owner I got along with, but the admin, not so much. He was full of himself and we bucked heads constantly. I was on staff there and he fired me. Never went back. Last I heard the forum is no longer online.

Damn. No kidding. There was a private area opened that I moderated on, I think they actually opened it because of my craziness. It’s not called the quack shack now but it’s still up.
Who did you lock horns with, Smitty? He gave me crap but I liked him. I believe he bought it from 12v didn’t he??

He muscled his way in and basically badgered Larry (12 V) till he finally gave In and gave him admin rights. Said he could make the forum so much better with new software.
We all liked the forum the way it was. It was different and it worked.
I will admit, Smitty was smart and talented, but I think was a bit arrogant.

Well I believe he’s gone like a fart in the wind now isn’t he? I haven’t heard from him in a long time. Most of the crew from the QS I haven’t seen a peep out of in a long time.
I don’t remember exactly what got me banned the first time from Copper. They started editing my post I believe and of course I had to protest. That lead to more arguments and that lead to more trouble. Somewhere along the way something else happened and I got banned. So I contacted FM and that didn’t do much good, him and 808 held hands too tight. Perma-ban!
At that point I found the quack shack and also made myself a little home at CBT. But I figured for kicks I’d go back to Copper and that’s when I came up with Undercover Brother, that went on until I got tired of it and basically outted myself in a reply to 808. Perma-ban instantly, haha.
Tor was my friend but I got into a lot of crap with that, I’ll save my adventures at Class A Drivers for another thread.

I had my bit with Lonnie (808) too. I met him in person. We had a get together at a truck stop in Iowa. Drove all across Iowa to meet him and his wife. Met some nice people, wasn't really impressed with Lonnie and Shirley. It was after that I was banned. This had to been at least 17-18 yrs ago. LOL
I forgot that I got banned from Copper Electronics back in 2014. I bought some coax with connectors installed and I complained on the forum because it was shorted. Faster than New York femto-second I was out.
