Larry's CB Shop - McKinney, TX

I remember that shop ... but when in Dallas, found it better to stay SOUTH of I20 - closer to Lancaster...

Either way, the "Via-duct" shelter night crawlers were always a reason to lock your doors double tight - at night.

Actually, the area you mention is at the wrong end of things. At more than one big truck company yard in the area drivers completely deflate the tires on their personal vehicles to stem theft of same while they’re on the road. It’s quite a sight with dozens like that.

“North” is generally preferred for D/FW. Exceptions exist, but . . .

.

This reminds me of Kens Electronics Comstock Michigan near Kalamazoo. Packed full of everything radio or electronic with the old reliable stand up tube tester in the back. Ken did repairs but if you brought your gear in for repair any illegal mods would be removed and taped to the lid when you picked it up but as an extra class he did great work and could diagnose what most other local techs couldnt. As far as I can tell hes still operating in the same location he was at 30+ years ago when I first moved to Michigan.

Up north in McKinney is still white-bread America as it currently exists.

See, even has a pipeline to Santa’s workshop. A dozen more photos like this in the Craigslist ad.

Google, “CB SHOP MCKINNEY”

That pink Cobra 29 is probably a collectors item now.
