New president lincoln 2

called copper and they never heard about it...

LOLOLOL......shocker. You will have to wait for several dozen to be damaged, blown up, or returned. Then Crapper can buy their factory seconds and list them on their web site as "just in" or "brand new". :D

Told a friend about it,and hes wanting on...all he runs on 10mtrs is a hr2510 or Lincoln...and want a newer one, still has a hr2600 that he got new and made sure it worked and put back in box...73 de JW

there is a reason crap like this is made and sold. there is a reason there is no 'new design' radios being made & sold. that reason is PEOPLE BUY CRAP LIKE THIS!!!!! you guys keep buying this crap & there is no incentive to invest money in a new design.

Its easy to tell if its SSB capable look for a clarifier which is on the top right hand of this particular radio ;)

have a old browning ltd i use on 10mtrs and a 148gtl for 12 mtrs and use a rci2950dx i use alot on 10 and 12mtrs...dont really need a new radio...hehe and in the house have a new ft450d and tentec corsair, and ts520 and many swan and siltronix radios...would like to try one just for the fun of it...used a new stryker ssb for about 5 min and worst radio i ever seen...made a midland whatever look good, hehe

These won't be distributed in the U.S., at least that's the word right now. So if you want one you'll have to buy one from across the pond.

It most likely will be compatible with President's wireless microphone which is cool.

Sadly that's what people want these days.. Fancy radios that are super loud on AM but suck balls on SSB. Most of the people that want them are the OTR truckers that never use SSB.... So we are left with the new crap today or some old radio with obsolete parts.. :-/

There is no 11 meter market, that died in the the 80's. What you have left over is a attempt by small companies to market crap hastily designed radios for truckers. Think about the companies that were around years ago. Even the legit ones left, Cobra and Uniden, where are the SSB base radios? If the market still existed they would be there. Everything is marketed to the trucker, not a slam on truckers but that the market now.

Cobra and Uniden sell more cordless phones and consumer electronics then CB's anymore, actually I am surprised that Cobra is still around.

Its all smoke and mirrors now, fancy displays with lots of color and blinking light and you suck the uninformed in. Very few good 11 meter radios are being made these days. Give it a few more years and Uniden and Cobra will drop CBs from the product line. Ranger, Stryker, Galaxy and the rest are not big enough to keep it all afloat.
