No, it is the same radio with another flavor PA attached. They did the 2970 N2 and N4
There still up there in bringing a class radio to the MarketNo, it is the same radio with another flavor PA attached.
Just like the D6 is the same radio with different output devices.
Ranger has been doing this for a while with the 6900 series radios as well.

Are you pleased with the Radio you have the extra power with the DX-6 without the heat sink underneath can you post up some pics if you don’t mind and store you bought the Radio from , I was informed they would run a 4 or 6 pill Amp what Amp do you run with the The DX6Just bought the dx6. Seems to be a good radio. Nothing but compliments so far. Figured I'd try it. Its pushing my straight 4 pill. Wanted a little more power than the 2950. N2 and n4 were to high for what I want to do ....
I had one of those also rci 2950 there kind of Rare especially in good condition .I've got an old school RCI 2950, orange display, I love it, and it's got some sentimental value to. It's the very first radio I ever bought, I pinched pennies a saved enough to buy the radio and a Antron 99. After I get my Madison base back from LC, I would like to have him recap and align my 2950, I bought it in the early 90s it's due
It has a bigger heat sink on the back than the regular 2950. I'm using a fatboy straight 4 pill. It's a bit hashy as rangers are. But all and all good. Are you pleased with the Radio you have the extra power with the DX-6 without the heat sink underneath can you post up some pics if you don’t mind and store you bought the Radio from , I was informed they would run a 4 or 6 pill Amp what Amp do you run with the The DX6
