New Year's Antenna Drawing Winner!

The winner for the Wilson 5/8 wave 2 meter antenna drawing has been selected!

​

The following members that entered the drawing met all of the qualifications:

There were many stations that entered that either didn't have a high enough post count, did not create a photo album containing their station, or did not create a post in the "Station & Mobile Pics" forum section letting everyone know about their album. To be fair to all, I had to only include those entries that followed all of the stated qualifications in the drawing announcement.

All names were written down on equal sized pieces of paper and put in my trusty Raiders cap (at least the cap is reliable!). The winner was picked out of the hat by my daughter.

I overlooked that the picture in the post is linked elsewhere when I checked, but it's also in his member album, which is why I didn't notice it.

The only way I found it was to do a search in the station and mobile pics and it's actually the first there, but it just does'nt show up in the regular threads, must have gotten the axe in post cropping.

Imagine my surprise this morning when i called Highlander821
to wish him a happy new year , and ask how many 10-95's he heard last night on the scanner , ( Arrests , presumably due to drunkeness)

and he informed me that i had won the antenna

Thanks Moleculo , and what a gorgeous young lady , I'm honored !

it will have a good home , i do a lot of commuting , i am an HVAC_R technician , to the uninitiated , that's heating ventilating, air conditoning, refrigeration . and as such log about 500-700 miles a week
in the course of my em[ployment

i plan on installing it on my chevy astro van i use for work
along with the htx 202 i inherited from Highlander821 !!!!!

anyway , Happy new year to all ,
and if i find i cant use it , i promise that it will stay in the Family !!!!

That antenna will make an excellent MURS antenna!

BTW, what happened to all my pictures? Sigma 5/8, Force 12 11 meter antenna, Hi-Q quick disconnect, etc...
