NPC Mod For Stryker 497 HPC v2

Has anyone figured out a Npc mod for the version 2 (newer) Stryker 497 HPC? Thanks

Not meant to be confrontational, but for the life of me I can not imagine why someone would do this to a Stryker. The Stryker radios are capable of over-swing, or over- mod via a couple of simple adjustments. I may be old school, but I just don't get the idea that a radio needs to be butchered.

That specific radio can already swing the gates of hell with just a potentiometer that's already in it.

The 447hpc2 is the same way!

Crude but effective. From that SMD cap to the center leg of the TIP36C. Use your flavor of resistor/diode... enjoy.

You might pitch that question in a new thread and see how it goes. This thread is on the 447hpc2 which is a different animal all together.

Figured it out used a 1n4148 diode w a 68 ohm resistor connected it to C189 on topside of board by the tip36c swings to full pep power now from the 3 watt deadkey
