Never thought I would say this. But the Workman Viper came in second as far as I can tell from the CBRM review. The other reason it caught my eye is that the whip on the Workman is very beefy. That surprised me. Less flexible and probably more rigid when moving on a vehicle. And at $50, looks like it can hold its own for a better price than the 10K - IMO. The snake coil looks kinda stupid - though.

Just sayin . . .

I think the Monkey also have the same beefy whip as the Workman.

yes it does. on mine it takes alot to bend it in half but ya let go and it
goes perfectly straight again.personally i think the flexable whip is better
causde if ya hit a low branch the whip doesnt give and uts all the pressure
and stress on the mount

Speaking of 10K's and monkeys, is there any truth to this claim?

Bulldog Radio Communications Anyone that makes an imitation of any Predator product is a copy cat. Just like the label says: !BEWARE OF IMIATIONS! A few went this route and have failed. Monkey Made in the beginning came pretty close to the Predator design and was told to make the changes or else!Saturday at 4:36am

Often imitated, never duplicated or so they say.

Was more thinking of the Kale demanding Monkey Made change their design part. Considering that Kale didn't invent the design it just seems odd to me that he would be able to force anyone to quit copying something he copied.

The truth is, In different mounting locations, certain antennas will work better than the other. As CBRM mention, On his other vehicle, it was a whole nother story, the 102" triumphed over the rest. So it totally depends on where your mount is located.

You guys are still beefing over this, the proof is in the pudding. Mack, true "often imitated but never duplicated." I would gear this quote towards the Browning copy of the P10K.

Of all the coiled antennas CBRM used, the 10K availed.

just my 2¢!!!

I hate it when someone uses my own sarcasm against me.

I will avenge my honor, if you have no patent or copy write of a device then you don't have any weight to throw around so mini you are misinformed.
