Connected to the CCW (left) lug of the clarifier control is a 6.8k resistor R415. It connects the clarifier's CCW lug to ground. A wire jumper across this resistor should allow you to go down 5 kHz on the clarifier. This will disrupt the knob position to reach the channel's center frequency. The clockwise lug of the clarifier is connected to a 3.9k resistor R 414. A wire jumper across this resistor may be needed to restore the clarifier's coverage up to the channel's center frequency.
This will make the control much more "touchy", or sensitive to small movement. If you can fit a larger knob to this control it can help with that problem.
