Brother Dxer,
I was using my Anytone AT6666 at 15 watts peak into a 3 element Hygain beam on the flat side pointed due west. One of these days I will get my new rotor on the mast and may be able to get some other stations. Rotor has been broken for about 8 months. I've had the new one since January. I have been very busy since the rotor crapped out. Almost got the "Honey-Do" list completed.
Maybe next weekend.

You were sure sounding good. Yep, I can relate about the busy schedule. Between work, aging parents and house maintenance, I haven't had the time to do much.
Get that rotor on and and spin that baby! Haha..

No contacts on 16 today. Conditions weren't there. I did make 1 contact on 38lsb with 431 South Carolina. A lot of other stations in there but I was mobile and in the pharmacy drive through.

I've been monitoring LSB 16 since around 12:30 as I take care of other matters. It has been dead. I hailed a few times and received absolutely no response. Then again, there hasn't been anyone out there to be heard.

The DX propagation has been pretty dead for several months now. We're due.

Completely dead all day today, aside from a short window around 11am where I could hear a station in Florida ever so faintly.

Been a little short skip here with dx working north / south.
Pacific northwest and down to Socal .
It's seems random during the day then picks up in the evening.

Florida came in fairly heavy around 7pm. Only lasted 20-25 minutes though. Could hear some Australia on 38 at the same time.

While CB skip propagation was dead, we were getting atmospheric ducting on GMRS UHF yesterday. A station in Ft. Myers on the Florida west coast was consistently hitting our radio club's repeater in Miami - about 120 miles to the southeast.

I've had the radio on LSB 16 for since about 12:30. In the last hour and a quarter I've heard one Texas station. He was talking to someone else, but that is it. The channel is dead quiet.

I tried several times and wasn’t able to reach anyone, nor did I hear anyone.
38 LSB for me was hot until around 12:15 and it faded...

Quiet on 16 and 38 LSB today, tried calling out on both Frequencies and no dice,DX Conditions up our way come and go these days......... Missing the amazing conditions that we had back earlier in the year!!!!
