The last time I was in London, I toured the Bush House, headquarters for the BBCWS. Of course, we've all known that this day was coming, but it still makes me sad for what we are losing. :sad:

For listeners in North America, I discovered that you can listen to the BBC at 9915 KHz every day from 21:15 to 23:00 UTC. It is kind of faint but you can hear it. I stumbled into that frequency accidentally. I learned that it comes from a BBC transmitter in Ascension island in the South Atlantic Ocean and the signal is intended for western Africa.

I know I can get shortwave from the Internet but I prefer getting it the old-fashioned way, with a radio. It has a different feeling to it.
