I have to ask the people now why Mark19960 has decided to exit CB mod making.
The guy has never sent me any emails and only responded once to call me a "muppet"
And now he breaks his silence.

Who do you think "dunnit"?.
It's bad enough dealing with drama created by local CB operators, imagine having the attention of over one thousand people, some of those people are going to be bright, some not so bright.
When people "break new ground" realizing they really don't have much skill, what do they do, but try to drag down others who are successful?
It's like the caveman cracking a humble person's skull with a rock because he didn't grunt the same way.
The humble person can't beat the thugs at their own game, he is not an ignorant brute, but cultured and civilized instead.
So, I am not pointing a single finger, all i'm saying is with social media and radio cliques, this sh*t tends to happen all the time.
CB Kidd, keep the videos coming, people will start to learn a few things about technology (& life).

Real life was more important.
As to Timmy buying mods... he said he has bought some from him.
I never saw a video of him doing one. But we know Lester is pulling those strings.
Even if Timmy was buying he was playing both sides.
Too many of his customers tell me that Timmy had no love for him privately but lots of love publically so I still think it was ultimately Timmy that put the pressure on and forced him out.

Mark was one of the good guys, and kept himself out of any drama that might be going on in the CB scene.
He never wanted to be "part of" anything. He just enjoyed the nostalgia of CB radio and happened to be very skilled at creating digital circuits for them.
The ONLY reason he got associated with Tim from Snake Radios is because they were both working on Uniden SSB980 radios, and both had a youtube presence.
all other associations between those two people would have been created by others trying to connect dots that weren't there. (I'm not speaking of anyone specific, just general online correspondence)
I feel like a lot of this is because of the facebook groups and the constant stream of bickering that goes on there. It seems like there is always drama over there, and i personally don't see a lot of actual radio talk. That's just my personal observation.
Mark doesn't like the style in which the Timmy bash-fest is going, and made that pretty clear when he went on Rakish's show.
I don't mind saying that i think going on that show might have increased Mark's audience in a way that he didn't intend.
I find this all too bad, and hope this isn't the end of a great youtube channel.

If you are reading this, please reconsider your exit and remember how many of us need someone with your skills and dedication to the craft of the hobby. Your name got included in all of this because you are a trusted reference that no one can refute as "not knowing what he's talking about", and you know exactly how rare that is to find in the CB hobby.
We have so few gurus to turn to when trying to expose chicanery, that anyone with a trusted voice is likely to be called upon to make a ruling. Please don't toss everything in the bin and move on, because you know this addiction never goes away and you're just going to have to re-buy everything like we have all done.
To the mods, I think this thread has run its course, and is becoming a repository for misunderstanding. I feel like CB Kidd's reputation is solid that that he is perfectly capable of starting threads on his videos here on the forum.
i would like to request that it be closed (this is my own opinion and is not influenced by anyone else) at this time.
Since i started this thread with the intention of making people laugh, i will end it with a joke:
A guy goes to visit his brother who is a professor at Harvard University. While walking around the campus looking for the library where they were to meet, he found himself lost among the throngs of brick buildings.
As he looked around for a sign, he saw a student walking to class, and as the student passed, the man asked him, "Excuse me, but can you tell me where the library is at?"
The student looked at him with disdain and answered, " Sir, we are standing on the hallowed ground of Harvard University, and at Harvard University we do not end our sentences with prepositions!"
Taken aback, the man responds, "OK then, can you tell me where the library is at, asshole?!"
Radio on my friends, the journey is long from over.

I can confirm "Yobbo Group" is an NRO
front.
NRO likes to delete incriminating videos and posts when the dots are connected.

i know !..its breaking news! ....
been a member of nro since the first week ..however been a member of the yobbo group (formally known as the KZ corporation) cb club since the 1980's ..before the internet was even a word ..so how is yobbo a front for nro when nro has only been around for 5 years?
so i posted some pics of two cb breaks on our facebook page ..one run by channel 28 club and the other was the Joliet break ..guilty by association it seems lol
my followers like to see cb breaks because here in nz and aussie there is no cb breaks or key downs ..you are gasping at straws ...the best we get here is a bunch of old smelly hams sitting around a table eating soggy biscuits complaining about their hemorrhoids and how they didnt get to do any gardening this week ..you know content makes hits which in turn makes followers which by association makes sales
as for the you tube channel it makes no distinction on who is what all the videos are copies of videos from other channels or off Facebook ..if that offends you then i guess you have some thing to be offended about
